There are numerous opportunities for pupils to demonstrate active citizenship as school prefects and school councillors as well as through charitable work. And community service is at the heart of school life (Ofsted 2024).

There is currently a community of 150 prefects at Davison, who, as positive role models and ambassadors for our school, support charity events, Church services, open evenings and open mornings, as well as running clubs, mentoring younger students, and acting as reading buddies.

Students can apply to be a prefect in the Spring term and, if appointed, are invited to attend a prefect training day.

The prefect team is supported by Mr Clayton and Mrs Anstey.
