Some of our top athletes recently competed in the Sussex School’s Athletics championships at K2 in Crawley. They had already competed in a qualifying round earlier this term. They all performed brilliantly with some truly amazing results. Congratulations to everyone who took part!
Alice Howie -1st in inter girls hammer – throwing 59.73m and a competition record as well as nearly 20m more than 2nd place!
Harriet Yelling 1st in the inter girls long jump – 5.05metres
Eva Betsy Taylor 1st in the Junior girls discus with 21.80metres. Olivia Massamba also got 6th place in this event with 16.17m
Julie Walsh came 1st in the inter girls 1500m race with a time of 2.47 minutes.
Taisha Satur came 11th in the inter girls 800m with a time of 2.47 minutes.
Finally Tanya Dipu came 6th in an incredibly fast junior girls 100m final running it in 13.80 seconds.
