2019 GCSE Results

I am delighted to announce that the students of Davison CE High School for Girls have achieved record breaking results in their recent GCSE examinations.
91% of students achieved a standard pass in English Language
81% of students achieved a standard pass in Mathematics
79%  of the cohort achieved standard passes (Grades 9-4)  in both English and Mathematics. This is a new school record!
60% of the cohort achieved strong passes (Grades 9-5) in English and Mathematics.  This is also a new school record!

The relatively new Progress 8 figure, which measures the individual progress of each student against his/her Year 6 SAT’s result is a +0.58.  Again…this is a new school record!

58 students achieved five or more GCSE’s at Grade 7 (Equivalent to the old Grade ‘A’). This is 30% of the cohort.

10 students achieved at least 5 Grade 9’s (the highest grade possible).
